New season. Teams are now open to trade players and soon it will be the draft. 

The Warriors are heavy favorites to win it all again but we all know that its a long season and anything can happen. Last year the heavy favorites didn't pan out. One didn't make the playoffs (Lakers) and the other was swept (Nets)

If Curry wins another chip and fmvp, then you need to include him in the top 5 conversation. He will now be compared with the likes of Kobe and Duncan.

If Suns let Ayton go, I highly doubt they can top the west again. Ayton averages 17 and 10 during the regular season. Although he can’t consistently create his own shot, but he defends and rebound.

Meron pang lingering issue re Suns organization and management. Under investigation sila ng NBA. 

What can they do if Ayton doesn't want to suit up for them anymore?  Iba leverage ng players sa teams these days.  Si Simmons nga hindi contract year eh he managed to twist the arm of the Sixers to trade him.  Same as Harden sa Nets. 

Ayton is an unrestricted free agent.

Kai would not need to declare or cannot withdraw from this year's draft as he is automatically eligible by NBA rules. Last year pa sya dapat but he should be 1 year removed from HS graduation in the US to meet the eligibility. Di naman kailangan magaling na magaling agad to be drafted because most NBA teams draft for potential, case of late 1st or 2nd rounders being superstars and we know some of them. Kai, if undrafted will be a free agent and can be signed to a 2 way contract by an interested NBA team. Hopefully soon his skills will be good enough for the NBA. Japan has a full blooded in Yuta Watanabe why not the Philippines? Or he can go back to Aussie NBL to hone his skills more and develop to be the cornerstone of the Phi National team coached by Josh Reyes hahaha

but the fifth title will be a very tall order.. especially that he is turning 35.. you could already noticed a decline in his current performance (before there is no game that he did not make a three,  there were times that his threes would not be less than 6s per game.. before, very seldom that he would drive to the basket to add up points to his game total or other players have seen how he can be defended in the 3s so his option is to out hustle them to the basket but that is tiring compared to the usual, double screen/screen, catch and shoot.. nabawasan ba rin yun ankle break nya haha..

of course,  young teams are catching up.. the grizzlies, mavs, thunder, pelicans..  other teams are building up as well..  lakers, rockets.. murray of the nuggets may be back soon.. in the east, the cavs, bulls, heat..

I think Curry is at his physical and mental peak.  He has probably a couple of years to win more chips with this team.  But yes, the western conference will be much tougher next season with the young guns from Memphis, the rejuvenated Timberwolves, the full crew Clippers and Nuggets, etc.

whether Kai is drafted or not, I think that he'll be getting at least a two-way contract - not a bad idea to develop a very young 7 footer that can shoot from outside and has good basketball fundamentals ... it would not cost any team that much anyway
