^^Magiging leery na yung team owners sa track record nya as an employee. Hindi lang BOS ang may non fraternity clause. All teams have that I'm sure. Lets just say if one gambles on his services to be their next head coach...that wont be a franchise like the Celtics. He can end up in Sacramento or some other team that is a thousand years away from winning it all.

Sayang pa din yun opportunity if you think about it.

Now re the consent...kahit may consent yung babae dyan eh naka specify sa code of conduct yun which he signed when he became an employee of the Celtics organization.
Kung mauwi sa lawsuit yan eh pwede sabihin ng babae yan sa korte na she had no choice but to accede to the affair because she fears her job security,,,,,instant 3M dollars yan not to mention the erosion of the Celtics organization's moral values that they uphold.

Dito lang sa Pilipinas hindi tayo sanay sa ganyan. Case in point: naboboto maging Presidente ang may kabit, womanizer, killer etc etc.

Udoka released an apology statement already. Per ESPN, the Celtics announce that "a decision about Udoka's future with the organization will be made later".

This one cost him the ff:
- Suspended for the entire year
- No pay for the entire year
- You cant apply for a new job because technically you are still under contract while serving your suspension
- a major blemish in his employee record which will affect his future employment.
- Most importantly...he needs to fix things up with his partner whom he has a son. Ito ang dapat nya ayusin agad because the fall out of this issue may cost him his family if not managed correctly.

All that because of his lapse of judgement. Hope he bounces back from this.

Brad Stevens was emotional in their press con with team owner Wyc defending the women in th Celtics org being feast upon in twitter. My guess is Brad is very angry at Ime Udoka. Wyc is more composed and casually taking charge of this scandal.

According to Stephen A Smith, Ime was given 3 choices, Celts fire him, resignation or 1 yr suspension. He chose the latter.

I guess the Celtcs especially Brad wanted him fired but their legal team presented them with a possible ugly scenario of Ime taking them to court to counter.

Steph A Smith also almost seem to raise the issue of racism towards Udoka. He was just furiously gagging himself to uttering this

Basketball wise, the biggest loser is the Celtics core of Tatum and Brown. Another year of fheir prime likely wasted because of coaching staff. Hopefully the team can get a replacement that suits the players soon.

In this era of the "Me Too" movement, it only takes another woman to raise her hand and declare that Udoka had a relationship with her as well. That would totally destroy Udoka's credibility as an employee and as a family man.

Iba ang corporate environment and culture sa US. Kung sa Pilipinas yan eh branded pa sya as "Macho" or "Habulin". Ganun ka-distorted ang perception natin ng moral values.

Tough luck pa for Ime Udoka kasi his salary as a head coach is very low as compared to the others. Rookie coach yan. Malamang gawin ng Celts is re-assign sya sa diff post (something that he wouldn't like nor enjoy doing) and just wait for him resign ultimately.

It has come out that the woman involved is the wife of a Boston Celtics executive - a VP for Finance. The woman also works for the Celtics.

they are doing everything that they can to make the other Ball happy. Parang Giannis lang. Small market kasi ang Charlotte. After LaMelo is done with his Rookie contract he may bolt if he is unhappy. Word is that Charlotte is ready to offer him a 5 year extension worth 200M plus.

NBA preseason action kicks off tomorrow with the Japan Games 2022 featuring the defending champion Golden State Warriors facing hometown favorite Rui Hachimura and the Washington Wizards. The first of two exhibition games will be held 6:00p PH time. The second game will be played on Sunday, 1:00p PH time.

Unlikely for both teams’ all-stars to play heavy minutes, so the new players will be on display.

Respectable bench minutes so far for Kai Sotto in their exhibition game vs. PHX, +/- 11 for the 36ers in Q1. He had a nice no-look assist and jam. But his man (Landale) easily beats him out of position in the paint and he's really not that quick recovering. Anyway, hope he'll be given more PT in the game and gets the chance to defend against Ayton.

Not bad for Kai. 17 mins; 11pts; 50%FG and made all 4 FTs. Kaso lang 2 rebs and no blocked shot

Kai has difficulty defending against the pick and roll and also with handling the switch (not an easy feat vs CP3 and Ayton, tbh).

However, he did well in 1v1 situations vs DeAndre Ayton. Phoenix also didn't have as many easy baskets in the paint whenever Kai was defending. When ADL went small, PHO could easily score inside.

36ers were coached really well, I must say. Good shooting, disciplined sets, and good ball movement probably surprised the Suns, who definitely underestimated their guests.

Medyo damaging sa NBA yung docu na yun. Imagine that...may utos from the top to give leeway to superstars. Now re the game fixing, the NBA wasn't even questioned by the FBI. The investigation stopped dun sa refs and sa connection sa Mafia. Ganun kalakas ang NBA and si Comm. Stern.

and to add...after that fiasco, the NBA legalized betting. They monetized it in the end.
