Both uber talented offensive scorers but they never came close to putting forth the consistent effort needed to be good in defense. We are not talking about Gobert or Wemby type of defensive presence here that alters team strategies....just guarding your man and making it hard for him to score.  Yun lang hindi magawa nung dalawa.  Their recipe in winning is to simply outscore you however when they come across a team who is committed to defense and knows how to shut your strengths down,  it then becomes a tall task for them to win as seen in this series.

Many are saying that Luka is the Euro version of LBJ.  This I beg to disagree. At that age, LBJ was a demon in defense.   He can play all 5 positions both in offense and defense.  Luka...cannot.  I'm not a fan of LBJ but let's get real here....malayo si Luka kay Lebron.   If we recall a play that will characterize the legacy of LBJ it will be a defensive stop.  That block against Igoudala in Game 7 against the Warriors will forever be remembered as his signature moment.

The way I see it, if the Celtics win this finals I really believe that this team is set to win it multiple times because of how COMPLETE and young (ripe) this teams is. They can run this again and again for maybe 4-6 or more years. Jayson tatum will surely get better and better in years ahead. Solid na tong team na to.

All of their core players were under contract for years to come and in their prime.  It ended just as soon as it started for DEN.  Teams re-jigger their lineups and coaching systems to beat the current champs. You can expect that there are 4 to 5 serious teams right now who will be drafting and trading players to specifically topple the champs.

Yan na talaga build nya. If he loses weight mahihirapan sya gawin yung low post bully moves nya.  He isnt really gifted with athleticism.  He just knows how to use his size and weight on the offensive end.  He hasn't figured it out how to use his size and skills on the defensive end.

Iba ang athletism ni Lebron.  Nung peak nya grabe ang  speed, strength and stamina.  Kulang lang sa kanya talaga is gracefulness kaya mas maganda panoorin si MJ. Dahil din siguro sa built nya and yung weight.

Pag binangga ka nya kahit konti eh that's all he needs to create the space to launch his shot.  He is so talented in offense as a scorer and orchestrator.  Ang problema sa laro nya eh basketball is played on both ends.

True. Every year yan may issue sa tuhod or foot related injury si Luka pagdating ng playoffs.  Regularly hobbled by the same issues from game 83 and beyond.

Back in 2022 I remember a healthy Luka owning the PHO Suns in a road game 7.  A week after that in the WCF against the Warriors, his calf broke down.  Ayun...tapos sila.

Now that the Celts are unofficially the NBA champs, let's try to revisit the other teams who fell short but are realistically just one or two players away from giving the Celts a run for their money next year.

Sa East malayo ang talent gap ng BOS against MIL and PHI.

Sa West I feel that only DEN could give them a run for their money.  DEN can match up with their size and Jokic will be a huge problem for them.  We aint seen the last of Gru.  He will be back.

Pero Celtics is just too talented and well coached. They are inevitable, regardless who they face in the finals. Too many casuals blaming Mavs. It's really all about the Celtics.

Luka's defensive presence in a nutshell

This is something that he needs to work on. The Celtics are getting to the rim almost every time with Luka guarding the man with the ball. The more damaging result is when another DAL player rotates to cover for Luka...it frees up the shooter from three.

Maganda sinabi ni Paul Pierce sa show ni Skit Undisputed about Luka and The Dallas Mavs. Parang sinabi nya na the mavs should be proud that they reached the finals when their path had been harder being the 5th seed with no home court advantage thoughout the playoffs. Also he isn't blaming Luka's defense or the lack of. They just ran againts the best record team this season.

Come to think of it, this series nahirapan din talaga ang Celtics and can't even maintain a big lead since napaka galing sa offense ni Luka and Kyrie.

They marched through the regular season and got the #1 seed.
They were only beaten twice during the playoffs.  One by MIA and another one by CLE.
The haven't experienced losing in over a month
Now they are leading the WCF Champs  by 3-0

All that success in the playoffs without Porzingis for the most part.  Imagine if he played and played well....they could have easily marched through the playoffs and finals unbeaten.
