There is a theory floating around about the Luka trade being an offshoot of the Adelson family (owners of the Sands hotel & casino empire, the Venetian, and the Mavs) plans to move the franchise to Vegas.  Coupled with the NBA's waning popularity, the trade could be an indicator that significant changes are afoot within the league.  Every other explanation makes no sense to me.

If the return is right?  LA fans will not even care.  Luka is onboard already.

Yung kasing value ni Luka sa homebase nya is so immense kasi homegrown sya and he delivered results.  Siguro it's like a young Lebron carrying the Cavs to their first finals with a rag tag crew and then the Cavs just trade him in the middle of the night after that Finals run.  Ganun yung ginawa ni Nico Harrison.  Ganung kalala.

That questionable move even damaged the future possibility of landing free agents and/or keeping their future home grown drafted talents.   Sinalbahe talaga nila si Luka by their justifications on why they did it.
