Further Details:
Fox Home Video and MGM Home Entertainment have sent over full details for the first two volumes of four upcoming James Bond: Ultimate Edition box sets, which will both be available on the 7th of November at a retail price of $89.98 each; the third and fourth volumes will be available about a month later on the 12th of December at an identical retail price. Each ten-disc set will contain five Bond films, which have all been given a two-disc special edition makeover featuring a remastered picture and DTS audio. We've attached a detailed listing of the specs for each of the first two volumes below along with the artwork for each box. We should have individual artwork and details on volumes three and four shortly, so stay tuned for that.

Shucks I got all of these when it was at 59 plus dollars ata when it was newly released. I dont know why they lowered these really fast I think in a span of less than 6 months. But this is good for the consumers..For me these 4 volumes are a very nice upgrade if you are a bond addict (like me hehe) also dts sound. Ya the problem is customs, at the post office if they will be charging for example 5000 pesos just make "pakiusap to the side", "lagay" hehe of 1000 to 1500 I think its well worth it naman..

if it returns to $125, i won't have any double thoughts already. getting all these in HD will just be too expensive. and not all the titles here are in my favorite list anyway.

I remember it was cheaper when it was on the Deal of the Day promo, around $100-110 only. But hey, if you can't wait, $144 is a good deal already

I bought a set. So far, I watched 3 really old films - Dr. No, Goldfinger and Diamonds are Forever. They have done wonders with the video. Frame by frame restoration. I still have to look at the newer films but judging from these 60's vintage movies, they have done a great job.

They also have a lot of special features that are really cool. They showed how they did the video restoration. They used the original stock and scanned it in a clean room at 4 seconds per frame. You can figure how long it took to scan just one movie at 24 fps. About 200 hours. Then they worked on the video in the digital mode.
