Hello. Is there a limit of purchases of 4K Bluray in Amazon? Bought 3 titles. Naunang naship yung 2. Then yung last kakaship lang kahapon and ang status ngayon is Delayed at Customs "Your package is being processed by Customs officials. UPS may require additional information from you."

New Bureau of Customs Memo Adds Fees to De Minimis Shipments

Do you constantly have things shipped from abroad? Then pay attention cause your next small package may cost you more than usual. The Bureau of Customs' (BOC) latest memo on customs duties, fees, and charges adds fees to "de minimis" shipments, with DHL Philippines announcing that it will soon come into effect.

The BOC's Customs Administrative Order (CAO) No. 02-2024 memo introduces customs charges, affecting shipments entering the Philippines with a value of Php 10,000 and below, a.k.a. de minimis shipments. 

And so for folks that rely on DHL, note that starting June 17, a new handling fee of Php 430 will be added to "de minimis" shipments in adherance to regulations outlined in the memo. The express service provider emphasized that this fee will not be subject to VAT as it is a BOC charge. It will also be reflected in your invoice and receipt.

I read a comment somewhere that the additional cost is on a total shipment basis. For example, for one airplane, the extra cost is 30k or 40k. so you distribute it amongst all the shipments it should cost minimal. But DHL is making a money grab by using this as an excuse to charge php430 per package.

agree. hati hatiin mo ang transaction. Actually sa checkout pa lang, makikita mo na kung i charge ka nang customs tax.

Free shipping naman basta abot 50USD.  Wag rin masyado close ang each transaction baka mapansin nang customs

I charge ka nang tax nang customs, which is anlaki.

IMO dapat lakihan na ang 10T na tax free. Kase ang laki na nang inflation.

Yes. It's about $170 limit. Basta pag checkout, kita mo na if subject to taxes.

If > 10k, I send via Kango if small sized item. Sea freight na kapag bulky. And I try to look for the item outside of Amazon, in case may mas mura.
