Sony DVD player from other countries

I just purchased a DVD player from Canada,  will this work in the Philippines ?

Should work fine in the Philippines...you may need an automatic voltage regulator if Canada is 110v....and the player should be multiregion to enable use with Region 3 dvds.....I think Canada's video system is already NTSC.....

What model are we talking about here?

Sony  dvd-ns55p ... its an inexpensive player
