Further Details:
Paramount Home Entertainment has revealed early details on 1-disc and 2-disc special editions of Iron Man which stars Robert Downey Jr, Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Each will be available to own from the 30th September. Extra features on the 2-disc will include an "I Am Iron Man" documentary, deleted and extended scenes, featurettes ("The Invincible Iron Man", "The Actors Process"), a look at the visual effects, image galleries, a gag from The Onion about the films trailer, and Robert Downey Jr's screentest. A Blu-ray release will also be available.

These sentiments won't matter to collectors, though. It may be the same DVD inside, but as long as the packaging is even slightly different, they'll get it.

Wow! That Collector's Edition looks 3D-ish. Like the Transformers Transforming Case.

Reading the Spanish product page, it says Disc 1 has 34 minutes of deleted scenes. I wonder if these would be incorporated to the movie or will just be a separate special feature.

Oh, and I noticed it's being released by Sony in Spain. So much for hoping a local release of that edition (unless Magna decides to import them).
