I've read somewhere that the 32pc5rv has 852×480 resolution, 1,800:1 contrast ratio and 550 lumen brightness. Definitely not good...

Whoops i think i meant the 32B530, BUT it's the same panel anyway so aesthetics lang diff (and maybe a USB?)

Is it true that there is no difference between Full HD (1080P) and HD Capable (1080i) for LCDs at 32" and below in terms of resolution? That Full HD is better for 40" and above?

What are the other advantages of getting a 32" Full HD LCD TV? Thanks.

I saw this at SM Hypermart and I did a double take when I saw the price. Also the logo in front was not straight. Then when I looked at the back. It didn't look like the Sony KLV32s I had before.. it was like the quality was (pardon the expression) made in china.

Using a Pioneer DV-600 connected via HDMI and set to 1080p, the LH70 gave us an average performance for DVD. Watching the movie "The Day After Tomorrow", the model gave off fair color tones and was marred by being a bit on the bright side. The LH70, however, handled fast action scenes from movies like the "Transformers" without a hitch! On lesser units, these fast moving scenes will display motion blur and very mild pixelation - The LH70 had none of those issues.

Blu-Ray:

This is where the LH70 trumps! I tested the LG with the movie "Dark Knight" and it was a grand performance. Dark scenes were rendered with minimal screen unevenness and cloudings were kept to a minimum (I saw another unit with heavy cloudings, but it seems to be confined to particular sets). Chase scenes were well done with no signs of the LH70 trying to play catch up with these extremely fast moments.

PS3:

LCD remains my choice for digital games and the LH70 was sweet all the way. Displaying 1080p native games like Metal Gear with crisp and vibrant graphics. No hints of ghosting and input response times were felt or seen during the demo.

Pro's
+Great high definition performance (Blu-Ray)
+Fast response time
+Stylish looks
+Good stock sound system
+Great for digital games

Con's
-Fair, just fair dvd performance even though the unit is at full 1080p
-Overly bright and certain colors come off as dull

Next will be the Sony 32S550 and the Panasonic 32C10. Then we can move on to bigger sets

^ bro pwede to kabitan ng HT which outputs 5.1 audio. Bumili ako ng LH70YR bundled with HT554, and this HT is 5.1 may kasamang 5 speakers and 1 subwoofer, hence 5.1.. I believe na what the reviewer is saying that the lcd cannot directly connect to a 5.1 which is true. Anyways you will need an HT or an AV receiver para maka output ng 5.1. Most internal speakers of lcd tv's ay hindi naman talaga loud eh compared to a set of speakers like 5.1, pwede na yung internal speakers ng lcd if you watch cable tv. My advise is got to a mall like in SM cubao, may naka display dun ng LH70YR na naka-kabit sa HT and pa demo mo para ma-appreciate mo. You just have to see the lcds that want to buy bro and that will help you decide
