I would suggest either one of the following:

- Wharfedale Diamond 9.1
- Wharfedale Diamond 9.2
- Polk Audio TSi 100
- Polk Audio TSi 200
- Infinity Primus P152
- Mission (Don't know the model number)

A good bookshelf speaker should have at least 100watts in rating, 6ohms or higher, 88db or higher sensitivity, and most of all, can deep down below 40Hz and shout as high as 40KHz or higher ;)

Pasok pa rin ata ang Monitor Audio BR2 sa 15K. Best bang for the buck at that price point I suppose.

bro, medyo out of scope sa buget yung mini monitors. 22k ata yun. Performance? well it's ok naman. Ganda nung sound and solid yung bass. Just heard them kase recently and frankly, im impressed. Try nyo rin yun atom, pasok sa budget un. It's smaller than the mini's pero halos parehas din yung quality ng sound save for the bass. (but for it's size impressive pa din yung bass nya.) Try to audition muna the different brands. :)

If you're still looking for speakers at that price range, I suggest you check 2nd hand items like B&W 601s3, Monitor Audio S, Aurum Cantus SV.

If you're into brand new ones, Check out Usher from Architectural audio, Monitor audio BR2 and (Paradigm atom only if you have a warm sounding system to match with it).

Just my short recommendations on your price range.

Audition as much as you can. Component matching is very important. Try to bring your system when you audition. Better yet, look for a dealer who would let you home audition.

Enjoy!

Had a nice 5.1 with monitor 7 up front and the atoms in the rear.  Atoms were good but far from great.  There are much better speakers out there for 13K.

If your budget is P13,000; you can consider the Polkaudio TSi100 or TSi200, if you can increase your budget a little bit, then you should consider the Polkaudio RTiA1.

Sir Hows the performance of Atom when used as surround? I'm also considering using atom as surround.

Firstly How big is your HT?.... and will you placing the atoms as surrounds horizontal to your seating area ( sweet spot/ears)? or will they be placed more than 3 to 4 feet behind your seating area.  And what will you use as fronts?

The more you can tell me about your HT the better I can answer you question.

Just like to ask how are you going to use the loudspeakers ?

Audio only ? if so you may also consider getting a less expensive model and use the excess funds for a sub

HT Only (Front or Surrounds). have you factored in the cost of the stands

Audio and HT?

How loud will you play it ? size of the room ?
May amp ka na ba ? if meron, can you share this  info.
