It really depends how important the DTS track is, personally, to you. And the price difference, of course.
I say this because I'm one who's happy with a DD 5.1 track, who doesn't really care about DTS.
Thanks, dude. I ask because I have the 2-disc copy of Casino Royale which has the DTS and DD tracks. The differences were night and day.
And you know what? I was just thinking of the price difference between the R1 and R3. It's, like, wow
Would I pay more for a measly DTS track? Anyway, someone already pointed out how good the DD track is, so I guess I'll just be happy with it either way
I actually liked the film
(<--- inserted just in case someone out there bemoans the fact again that the only thing members here care about is the tech specs of a DVD, the bonus items from gift sets and limited editions, and not the movie itself Peace! --->) even though the girlfriend, who is a die hard Craig fangirl, didn't. I do see where the detractors are coming from, likening it to the Bourne movies and current action films in general. But for me, It's a Bond movie that went beyond its shell. Even then, I'm also actually waiting for it to come back to the familiar elements of the series: gadgets, gadget briefings with Q, verbal spars with Ms. Moneypenny, etc.
