Monitor Audio Bronze BR2
« on: May 03, 2009 at 05:45 PM »
Hey Guys,
I have found on the web that this is great, even greater than the Wharfedale 9.1 that I wanna buy.
See the test:

http://www.otest.co.uk/group-test/what-hi-fi-sound-and-vision-57214.html

Even the B&W 686 was defeated, the brother of 685
See:

http://www.otest.co.uk/group-test/what-hi-fi-sound-and-vision-112116.html

Guys here, have you seen this in any audio store?
Can you please share me your comments, also the latest price. Maybe I will buy.

give them both a listen. if possible, at home, using your own gears.

here's a link to some pictures and some short comparisons with other speakers.

in short, the BR2 is an audiophile grade speaker with a bang for the buck price.

9.1 vs. br2? amigo, kung same price mo lang makukuha yan, wag ka ng mag-isip -- dive ka na agad sa MA.  ;)

for me, 9.1 vs. proac clone -- pwede pa. (no offense sa mga 9.1 owners ha  ;) )

Has anyone compared these (BR2) to Polk TSi's or the new RTi's?

@ John E,

What AVR were they using with the BR2 at audioworld?

Haha... don't think I'd ever be able to get my wife to remember that stuff.  Hehe.

BTW, how does the BR2 compare with the TSi 300.  Its also under consideration since the 300 is reasonably priced especially since everyone advises to get stands for bookshelves.  It also has pretty much the same drivers as the 200.

Haha... abangan ko PM mo.  Lalabas kasi same price range talaga BR2 and TSi 300.  Especially if you consider the price of the stands.

Thanks.
