@stickfighter ...... I will consider sir Turbokiller's. AM just checking dito muna sa malalapit kung may mapagkuhanan as these stands are pretty heavy .......

my dilemma now is : 24" or 30" ..... right now it seems 24" is suitable na nga!

Update .... may stand na speakers ..... pero "ghetto" style

hehehehe pinagawa ko lang sa Carpentry namin dito ........

plan to put deadening material sa pinagpapatungan ng speakers to make it more solid ...... then will probably mull the idea na lagyan ng spike yung speakers

Salamat salamat sa inyo po

initial comment ko after about 12 hours total usage .... the difference with my old Denon 1604 is the brightness of the sound ..... the denon is flat, Onkyo is warmer lalo sa low freq.

Nowadays sinet ko X-ver to 100Hz as per Manual's tip

......

Also the Onkyo 508 sound is parang more controlled. Hinahanap ko nga kung naka On yung dynamic range compression / Cinema Filter niya eh .... pero hindi eh naka off siya.... Even checked the BD player and NMT settings.... lahat naman naka off ...... ganun lang talaga siya, more beautiful details yet the sound effect is tolerable even kung medyo malakas konti volume ..... Hindi yung sumusigaw na nakaka gulat to the point na irritable .....

Overall I like the balanced sound Onkyo 508 produces. I like the new sound it very much. I have no regret with the purchase. Mas mura pa nga ito kesa sa 7cu ft 2 door ref eh
